Thanks for the Miracle info. I actually have a couple of skeins in an orangy color that I think might look great knit up for Blaze :) Its a shame you don't live closer than Abingdon. It seems like its hard to find local knitters.

Beautiful scarf by your dad! I love the colors and the pattern. My DH sort of learned last winter, but he hasn't picked up the simple scarf he was working on since then. He said that he's not very creative and he thought maybe learning to knit would show some of what creativity he has. I think that could be true. Though you follow a pattern in knitting, you choose how the object will turn out through colors. Maybe I'll have to poke him with the needles again.
