You made a great buy. They sell organizers at craft stores and scrapbook stores that would are made for that, but they cost sooo much more. You have some great buttons saved up :)

Snazzy...much better than having a big jar that you always have to sort through (not that I know anyone like that).

I've bought organizing stuff from the fishing department at Wally before. There's this wonderful thing called a worm bag that's perfect for holding notions in a large knitting bag or storing a collection of circular needles. It's square and has zippered "pages."

One can never have enough knitting bags. I live in Vera Bradley country and have lots of Vera bags I use for various projects. One bag is just for socks, another for small things that aren't socks as well as a large tote for big sweaters. A few weeks ago I bought a BagSmith project bag from a friend who has her own shop. She carries the hard-to-find style that has a vinyl pocket on the back to hold patterns. Had to have it. What is everyone carrying for knitting bags?

What a great stash box! I just threw my first few buttons into a little cardboard box that some spices were shipped in. I like all those little compartments. It appeals to the more-than-incipient OCD in me!

I'm just checking in today after the weekend and am glad you went button shopping. My vote would have been C: look for different buttons. I am sure you found a great one, can't wait to see. That sweater looks gorgeous.
