Thanks for the leaf cardie info!
I want a little car! I've always preferred to drive small cars. Alas, I'm forced by sheer numbers to drive a minivan now, (and we've got every seatbelt full at that.) Hubby is already after me to get a 12 passenger van just to have the extra room. Ugh! I'm holding out as long as possible!

I've never been to a festival either. Have fun! I'm not sure how much yarn you could fit in a mini, but if you make your mom hitch a ride back... Just kidding! :)

I'll be there with my mother in tow as well. Where are you gals staying??

Have fun! It should be pretty amazing. The Maine Fiber Frolic is in June, but it's soooo tiny compared to MDS&W.

I'm going too with Carrieoke and our friend Anne Marie! Maybe we'll see you there!

You'll have a blast! Last year I went to the Michigan Fiber Festival with a friend and was completely overwhelmed by all of the great stuff. Yarn compresses, so you'll be amazed at what you can squash into a small space. Both of us ended up with yarn, sweater kits, roving, books, patterns, and handmade soap. We even hit a thrift shop on the way and I scored enough Galway to make a felted purse for only three bucks. Can't wait to go this year!

You can fit an infinite amount of yarn into a MiniCooper if you persuade the sellers to ship! Often (giving myself away here), the savings on sales tax makes up for the shipping cost, and beyond. You will have a wonderful time. I went to the TKGA last year in New Hampshire. The fibermarket was teensy compared to MS&W. Meeting knitters and yarn sellers was half the fun.

I am truly embarrased at the amount of yarn that I have crammed into my Mini. Trust me, it holds a lot. :)
