Thanks for the link to the sachet pattern; I have lots of lavender in tha garden! Somehow I missed that you were moving to Charlotte. My husband is from there originally, though we haven't been back in several years. It's a lovely city!

The sock is beautiful! I had to do a triple take when you mentioned getting purple yarn. Then I read the next sentence... Duh! The hearts are lovely :)

I'm glad everything is going well in the moving department, especially as far as the house-buying goes. That is great the former owers are willing to work with you on repairs and such. I've never been to Charlotte but I was recently in Greensboro and it was really nice there. I've heard so much about Charlotte, I've always wanted to go there.

I think the sachets are a lovely idea. And a great use of Koigu too. I may have to try that.
